Questions before you buy

Question 1

What can I use credits for?

Accepted Answer

Credits pay for ImageNow's AI image tools, and all of them draw on the same balance. Today that is background removal, which uses 1 per image. New AI image tools will use the same credits when they launch, so what you buy is not tied to one tool. The browser tools never use credits.

Question 2

How much can I do for free?

Accepted Answer

Without an account, you can remove the background from 1 image every 24 hours while the day's free capacity lasts. Creating an account adds 10 free credits. Each day you sign in, you also get 2 bonus credits, valid for 24 hours.

Question 3

Do credits expire?

Accepted Answer

Credits from packs never expire. Subscription credits last for the billing period they arrive in: one month on a monthly plan, one year on an annual plan, which adds all its credits at once. The Free plan shows how long bonus credits last. Credits that expire are always used first.

Question 4

What if processing fails?

Accepted Answer

If a task fails or is canceled, the credits it reserved go back to your balance automatically, with nothing for you to request. A finished result you don't like counts as a completed task. Getting credits back is separate from refunding a payment; for payment questions, email support.

Question 5

Can I cancel or change my plan?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Cancel your subscription anytime in Account & Billing: you keep the plan and its credits until the paid period ends, and it won't renew. To move to a bigger or smaller plan, choose it on this page. Credit packs are one-time purchases, so there is nothing to cancel.

Question 6

Can I use the results commercially?

Accepted Answer

ImageNow doesn't restrict commercial use of your results. Under our Terms you keep all rights to the files you process, and ImageNow claims no rights to the results. You do need the rights to the original image, such as your own product photos, must respect other people's copyright, trademarks and likeness, and should check each result before publishing it.

Question 7

What happens to images I upload to AI tools?

Accepted Answer

They are uploaded to our server for processing, and only you can open the upload and the result. Both are deleted automatically after 7 days, so download anything you want to keep. The browser tools don't upload your files at all.

Question 8

Do the 60+ browser tools cost anything?

Accepted Answer

No. The tools for compressing, converting, resizing, cropping, PDFs and GIFs run on your own device, with no account, credits or upload. They stay free whether or not you buy a plan.

Everyday edits are free. AI uses credits.
