Fix the direction of photos and graphics
Rotate 90°, 180° or 270°
Turn a sideways photo left or right in 90° steps. Two turns make an upside-down picture upright; three turns give 270°. The whole picture stays in view, with width and height swapping after a quarter turn.
Flip an image like a mirror
Flip horizontally to swap left and right, or vertically to swap top and bottom. A horizontal flip is useful for a mirrored selfie or a design that needs to face the other way. Check any words or logos in the preview because they flip too.
Correct a mixed batch
Add up to 20 static JPG, PNG or WebP files, each up to 50 MB. Apply the next change to every image, the current image, or only originally portrait or landscape pictures. Each thumbnail also has its own right-turn button. Square images are included under All images.
Keep the picture at its original resolution
Rotation and flipping rearrange the full image without cropping or resizing it. The original format is retained, including transparency in PNG and WebP. JPG and WebP are saved again, so the file size can change. Download one result or package the batch into a ZIP.
How to rotate or flip an image
- Choose one or more images, or drop them into the picker.
- Use the left, right or flip buttons. For a batch, choose which images the next change applies to.
- Select Apply changes and check the actual result. Back to edit keeps the original images and your adjustments.
- Download the current image or the batch ZIP. Add more images to continue, or clear the selection to start again.
Frequently asked questions
How do I rotate an image 180 degrees?
Click either 90° rotation button twice, then select Apply changes. A 180° turn reverses the top and bottom while keeping the original width and height.
What is the difference between rotate and flip?
Rotation turns the image around its center. Flipping reflects it across a horizontal or vertical axis. Use Flip horizontally for a left-to-right mirror image.
Can I rotate multiple photos at once?
Yes. Choose All images, Portrait originals, or Landscape originals before applying a change. These choices use the original orientation, so repeated turns continue to affect the same photos. Current image changes only the selected preview.
Will a transparent PNG stay transparent?
Yes. PNG remains PNG and WebP remains WebP, with transparent areas retained. A quarter turn changes a 1200 × 800 image to 800 × 1200 without adding a background.
Can I undo the changes after previewing?
Back to edit restores the settings view with your adjustments. Reset image returns the current image to its original orientation; Reset all does the same for the entire batch. Changing an image makes its earlier result unavailable until you create it again.
Where are my pictures stored?
The tool processes the images in your browser. The current visit keeps the selection and results in memory. Refreshing or reopening the page starts a new selection.
