Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using ImageNow, you agree to these Terms of Service, including the acceptable use rules below. If you do not agree, do not use the website or its tools.

The service

ImageNow provides free online tools for tasks such as compressing images, converting image formats, resizing, cropping, and combining images into PDF files. The free tools process supported files locally in your browser and need no account or payment.

ImageNow also offers AI features, such as AI background removal, that upload the image you choose and process it on our servers. Their pages say so beside the upload control, and some processing requires an account and credits.

Features, supported formats, limits, prices, and availability may change as the service is improved. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue a tool or feature when reasonably necessary.

Your files and permitted use

You keep all rights to the files you process. You are responsible for making sure you have the rights and permissions needed to use, upload, and process those files and to use the results, and for keeping backups of important originals and results. Processing an image does not give you rights to content you did not already have permission to use.

AI features: uploads and results

Images you send to an AI feature are uploaded to our storage and processed by our AI processing provider. Storage periods and access restrictions are explained in the Privacy Policy and beside the upload control; download any result you need to keep before its storage period ends.

AI results can miss fine details, remove part of a subject, or leave unwanted edges. Review a result before sharing, printing, or using it commercially. The AI processing provider may reject an image under its own content and safety rules.

Accounts, credits, and payments

If you create an account, provide accurate information and keep your sign-in credentials secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.

The tool shows the credit cost before you submit a processing request. Credits may have validity periods, and daily bonus credits expire according to the displayed policy. Free trial access is subject to per-visitor, network, and shared daily limits, so a request can be unavailable even when you have not used a trial yourself.

When a processing task fails, reserved or deducted credits are released or refunded automatically. A credit refund for a failed task is separate from a refund of a payment. Do not submit repeated paid requests while a task is still running; check its status or contact support first.

When purchases are available, the pricing page and checkout show the products and their terms. Subscriptions renew according to the terms shown at checkout, and you can manage available billing and cancellation options in your account. Contact support about payment errors or refund requests with the relevant order details. Any mandatory consumer rights under applicable law continue to apply.

Acceptable use

Use ImageNow for lawful tasks with images you are authorized to use. Obtain permission before editing another person's photo, and respect copyright, trademarks, privacy, and rights in a person's likeness when creating or sharing a result.

You may not use ImageNow to:

  • upload or process sexual or explicit content, content involving the exploitation of minors, non-consensual intimate imagery, hate, threats, or graphic violence;
  • impersonate someone, manipulate a person's face in a harmful way, misrepresent real events, or harass, exploit, or deceive someone;
  • break the law, infringe another person's rights, or facilitate fraud or other illegal activity;
  • distribute harmful code, interfere with the service, bypass technical safeguards, payment or usage limits, or attempt unauthorized access to systems, data, or another person's private files.

We may review relevant content and account activity when investigating abuse, and may reject a request, restrict a feature, remove content, or suspend an account when reasonably necessary to protect people, enforce these rules, or comply with law. To report prohibited content or ask about a rejected request or restricted account, email support@imagenow.net with the task or account details needed to investigate.

Results and compatibility

Results can vary with the source file, format, browser, device memory, and settings described on each tool page. Review downloaded files before relying on them for publishing, printing, archiving, or another important purpose.

Intellectual property

ImageNow's website, branding, interface, and original software are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms do not transfer ownership of ImageNow or your files between you and us.

Availability and warranties

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. AI features depend on our processing providers and may be interrupted, changed, or limited. To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, compatibility with every file or device, or that a result will meet a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ImageNow is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service. Nothing in these terms limits rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
