Conversion runs locally in your browser. Your images are not uploaded.
Why convert SVG to JPG?
For the places that reject SVG
Social platforms, Word and PowerPoint documents, print shops and older content systems often refuse SVG uploads. A JPG goes through everywhere.
A whole icon set at once
Add up to 100 SVG files, convert them automatically, and download the JPGs one by one or as a single ZIP.
Design sources stay on your device
Rendering and JPG encoding run in your browser session, so brand assets and unreleased artwork are never uploaded to ImageNow.
How it works
- Select or drop up to 100 SVG files, each up to 100 MB.
- Your images convert automatically. Check the JPG, then choose Custom width under SVG output size if you need a different size.
- Download each JPG, or save the whole batch as one ZIP.
SVG is converted into fixed-size pixels
SVG is a vector format that stays sharp when scaled, while JPG is made of pixels. The initial output size comes from the SVG’s width, height and viewBox. To make a larger or smaller JPG, choose the dimensions while the converter still has the SVG source; enlarging a saved JPG later can blur its edges. To convert SVG together with other image formats, use Convert to JPG, which accepts PNG, WebP, HEIC and more in one batch.
Transparent areas become white
JPG does not support transparency, so transparent areas of the SVG are filled with white. To keep transparency, use Convert to PNG instead. Keep the original SVG for work that needs transparency or editable vector shapes.
Embed SVG resources for the most accurate result
SVG files with their shapes, paths, text, fonts, and images embedded are the most reliable. External fonts and linked images may be unavailable or render differently when the browser decodes the SVG, and scripts are not carried into the JPG. The downloaded file contains flattened pixels, not SVG code, metadata, or editable paths; your original SVG is left unchanged.
Choose the JPG size before saving
After the SVG loads, SVG output size appears in the panel beside the images, or under the settings button above them on a phone. Choose Custom width and enter a width in pixels; the height follows each SVG’s own proportions. A 24 × 24 icon can therefore be rendered at the size you need before saving the JPG. Original size restores the dimensions read from the SVG.
Frequently asked questions
How do I convert SVG to JPG?
Choose or drop one or more SVG files. Check the automatically converted JPG, adjust SVG output size if needed, then download each result or save the completed batch in a ZIP.
Is the converted JPG still a vector image?
No. The JPG is a raster image with fixed pixel dimensions. It no longer contains SVG code or editable vector paths.
What size and quality will the JPG have?
The starting dimensions come from the SVG’s width, height and viewBox. Under SVG output size, choose Custom width to enter a different width; the height keeps the aspect ratio. The converter exports a high-quality JPG at the resulting dimensions, which are shown when you open the image.
Will external fonts and linked images appear?
Not always. For consistent output, embed fonts and images in the SVG itself. External resources may be unavailable, blocked, or handled differently by the browser during conversion.
Why would I need a JPG instead of the SVG?
Because many destinations still do not accept SVG: Instagram and most social uploads, Word and PowerPoint in older versions, a lot of print workflows, and content systems that block SVG for security reasons. A JPG is accepted by all of them.
Can I convert several SVG files at once?
Yes. Add up to 100 SVG files, wait for automatic conversion, and download the results individually or together in a ZIP archive. Each file can be up to 100 MB.
Are my SVG files uploaded to a server?
No. The selected SVG files are rendered and converted in your browser, and the resulting JPG files and ZIP archive are created on your device. Free tools do not upload your files. AI features that require server processing upload them to our servers.
