JFIF stands for JPEG File Interchange Format. A .jfif picture uses the same JPEG image format as a .jpg picture; the filename extension is different. Windows file type settings can make a browser save a JPEG with the .jfif extension, while some upload forms and apps expect .jpg.

Can I just rename .jfif to .jpg?

Why is my JPEG saving as a JFIF?
